The Blockade of Gaza is Illegal -
To start with, the blockade of Gaza is illegal. San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea
Section II : Methods of warfare Blockade102. The declaration or establishment of a blockade is prohibited if:
(a) it has the sole purpose of starving the civilian population or denying it other objects essential for its survival; or
(b) the damage to the civilian population is, or may be expected to be, excessive in relation to the concrete
and direct military advantage anticipated from the blockade.

The United Nations secretary general, Ban Ki-moon, repeated Tuesday his demand that Israel allow significantly more humanitarian aid into the beleaguered Gaza Strip, and he announced that he would send a team to investigate the bombings of United Nations facilities there.
The human rights organization Amnesty International issued a statement criticizing Mr. Ban for being too timid on the extent of the inquiry.
Mr. Ban said at a news conference that the United Nations was trying to get relief supplies to nearly one million people daily, but that Israel was only allowing one border crossing to open, permitting trucks with supplies for only about 30,000 people to get through.
“We are experiencing serious difficulty in getting all the materials, humanitarian assistance, so it is absolutely necessary that they open the crossings,” said Mr. Ban, whose previous statements urging Israel to allow more aid into Gaza have been ignored. “I will continue to urge that.”
There are 1.5 million people in Gaza and only aid only for 30,000 gets through? Has not Section 102 been violated, making the blockade illegal?
The Attack on Flotilla is an Act of Terror -
Since the blockade is illegal, any attempt to break the siege on Gaza would be legal. That means the Flotilla Mission, together with the attempt by Rachel Corrie, to break the siege is legal. That also means any attempt to stop them in International Waters would be an Act of Piracy. Israel not only has committed piracy against the Flotilla and Rachel Corrie, it has also committed murder on the Flotilla.
Israel claims that its commandos were attacked the moment they boarded the Flotilla. This claim is preposterous. Firstly, what right does Israel have to board a civilian ship in international waters? Isn’t that piracy?
Secondly, if the commandos were acting in self-defence, why the need to shoot some at close range multiple times, some even in the head? Isn’t the intention to kill right from the very start?
Report: Autopsy shows Gaza activists were shot a total of 30 times
Nine Turkish activists killed in an Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship were shot a total of 30 times and five died of gunshot wounds to the head, Britain’s Guardian newspaper reported on Friday.
Autopsy results showed the men were hit mostly with 9mm bullets, many fired at close range, the Guardian said, quoting Yalcin Buyuk, vice-chairman of the Turkish council of forensic medicine which carried out the autopsies on Friday.
From the evidence above, it is quite clear that the commandos were instructed to kill. So on top of committing piracy on the high seas, Israel has committed murder on board the Flotilla. The Flotilla Massacre is only one of many International Crimes and Acts of Terror Israel has committed. Throughout its short history of independence, it has committed more Acts of Terror and International Crimes than any other nation in history – and gets away with it.
Oh yes, if anyone wants to talk about Hitler, Saddam or other monsters, just be reminded that they didn’t get away with it. Israel does.
In the meantime, here’s a testimony from one of the survivors of the Deadly Attack on The Flotilla. ‘We are not the real heroes’, says volunteer
SEPANG: Although the 12 Malaysians and volunteers on board the aid ship attacked by Israel while on its way to Gaza have been called ‘heroes’, they feel they do not deserve such accolades.
Noorazman Mohd Samsuddin, who was among those held by the Israeli army since Monday’s deadly attack on their humanitarian flotilla MV Mavi Marmara, said: “We are not the real heroes.
“The real heroes are the ones who prayed for us, those who helped to free us. They are the heroes,” he told a packed press conference at KLIA after arriving from Istanbul, Turkey.
Noorazman also said that their freedom was “not the real issue” although they went through the “most difficult times” of their lives.
“We were handcuffed for more than 15 hours and not allowed to go to the toilet. Their guns were always pointed at our heads. We were not given food or drinks for almost 24 hours.
“But the people in Palestine are in a worse situation than ours. They are constantly being confronted by the Israeli army who are prepared to kill at any time,” he said.
Noorazman, a lead delegate for NGO Lifeline4Gaza, expressed his gratitude to Malaysian and Jordanian government for their efforts in securing their freedom.
The 12 who survived the deadly Israeli attack which took nine lives and injured many others were on their way to send humanitarian aid to Gaza and sailing on international waters.
Attacks came without warning
Recalling the tragic incident, Noorazman revealed that several Malaysians were also shot, but with rubber bullets. According to him, the attack came without warning.
“We were on international zone, 74 nautical miles from Gaza. They were no warnings before they raided our ship using a helicopter. We didn’t know who they were.
“We were instructed to defend the ship and ourselves. Before the first raid, they threw smoke bombs and flash bangs to blind us temporarily,” he said.
“Three commandosm abseiled down a rope from the helicopter on to the ship but before they could set foot, we managed to hold them so they could not shoot us
“The helicopter left the area following the swift reaction from the volunteers,” added Noorazman.
The second attack caught them off guard as it happened too quick.”The commandos started shooting first before coming down. A journalist from Turkey was shot in his head and died soon after.
“During that attack, four to five people were shot dead in front of our eyes,” said Noorazman.
Note the tone of humility in the volunteer’s words, compared to the high and mighty self-righteous attitude of the Israeli Terrorists.
It is good to hear the real stories from the abducted victims, instead of all the propaganda from the Israeli Terror Machine, who destroyed all tapes and evidence recorded by the victims of the Terror Attack on The Flotilla.
