Sorry, ‘smack of’ ain’t good enough. Where’s the proof? At no point in time is any woman physically restrained, drugged, or in any way prevented from seeking help from the police or her country’s embassy.

Beast, do you not understand English? More than one reader has asked Alex to substantiate his allegation that quickie-matchmaking is necessarily human trafficking. Is that not a valid question? If you have nothing to say except it is because it is, please shut up.

Alex, why do you allow Beast’s name calling? Does it help the discussion in any way, or does Solo Bear deserve it?

Beast has replied to KT above and allege that my blog is antisemetic and homophobic. I let readers judge themselves.

RedLena and Beast are the same person. Beast has been trolling at my site and since I have ignored him at my site, he has decided to come to Yawning Bread instead. Here is the evidence of that intention of his (30 Jul 2010 1:26 PM) to create trouble.

I don’t wish to entertain him at YB because I do not want to dirty the host’s (YB) website.

My site is open to anyone who wishes to criticize so there is no need for anyone to call anybody names.

As for his so called police report, he has actually run foul of the law posting porn and hate at my site, which I had to delete. I have however captured his hate posts through my email notification. Here is one example. The blanked out word is an expletive placed beside the name of Jesus.

Beast/RedLena did not come to YB to discuss. He came to troll and stalk me.

Personally, I feel he is not being fair to YB and his readers.

I do not believe my site has enough hits for bots to target. Here is a screenshot from my sitemeter.

Note that on average in a month, I have about 3000+ visitors. That is about 100+ a day.

The spike in May 09 is due to the first week in May, where the Aware Saga was hot in the news.

Also note that before the Aware saga, my site was as dead as doornail – less than 1000 visitors per month. About 20 to 30 per day, actually.

Incidentally, the stats also rubbishes my critics that I need to have higher traffic sites to help me to increase my volume. Before the Aware Saga, my site has been regularly linked by other sites, including Singaporedaily, Myapplemenu and even TOC. Note that even with their help before Apr 09, they did not push my stats to above the 1000 mark.

After the Aware saga when they boycotted me, my site registered more than 3 times the average than before they boycotted me.

I hope the above stats prove once and for all that:

1) My site does not garner enough hits for bots to attack.

2) I have not been depending on other sites, such that I die-die want to spam their sites to up my own stats.

I have participated in many forums, as well as run other blogs. I have noticed that there are two kinds of very vicious spam attackers. The first one is the religion hater. The second group are the LGBTs!

Since I don’t believe I have rubbed religion haters the wrong way, the only group that must have been offended has to be……

The bad thing is that there will always be mischievous people who resort to such infantile deeds.

The good thing is that the mischievous people now realize that there are blogs like this one, that have impacted and effectively countered the odious deed of trying to influence our young with questionable ideas.

I have noted the IP address of the attacker. For now, I think I will just let it rest.

The mischievous people want either this blog shut down, or at least make me turn on the moderation button.

Please note that although the number of comments per thread is high, it still forms only a small part of the total number of hits I get in this blog.

Most of the hits I get are “see, read and leave” visitors, rather than commentators. So even if I were to moderate, it won’t really affect the number of hits here.

But the number of hits is not actually my concern. My concern is free speech. Hence, I really would not like to moderate.

It looks like some of these people are not mature enough to know that free speech carries responsibility and have taken my hospitality to allow them here, as my weakness.

Pathetic.
