>Brazen Act of War by US and Allies

Posted by Barrie on March 20, 2011

>First, let me declare that I am not supporting Gaddafi, the Libyan dictator. I am opposed to the brazen act of hostility and war on the part of US and its allies.

The US and its allies, unprovoked by any parties from Libya be they from the govt or rebels, bombed the country.

Isn’t this an act of war?

BOTH the current Libyan govt and the rebels oppose foreign interference because they expect others to respect Libya’s sovereignty.

But the hypocritical West, greedy for Libya’s resources, couldn’t help their need to be involved so that they could later steal the country’s rich resources.

U.S. Launches First Missiles Against Gadhafi Forces

Tripoli, Libya– The U.S. military has launched its first missiles in Libya against Moammar Gadhafi’s forces, a senior Defense Department official said Saturday.
Earlier, French fighter jets deployed over Libya fired at a military vehicle on Saturday, the country’s first strike against Moammar Gadhafi’s military forces who earlier attacked the rebel stronghold of Benghazi.

U.S. Tomahawk missiles have landed in the western area around Tripoli and Misrata, the American military official said.

U.S. Launches First Missiles Against Gadhafi forces!! New Undeclared Illegal War Begins

If the US and allies truly want to protect civilians, they should bomb Israel, who has been killing innocent civilians for decades.

Here is a video clip posted on Youtube, which shows the amount of $$$ the west stands to gain, simply by freezing Libya’s assets. Hey, isn’t this theft in broad daylight?
Wealth Warfare: US grabs Gaddafi assets, Libya to kiss cash goodbye?

In the meantime, it is China, the communist country the West painted during the Cold War as the ruthless one, that holds the moderate view. What irony. China regrets multinational air strikes in Libya

>Hypocritical Western Democrazy

Posted by Barrie on March 18, 2011

>When the Western nations scream democracy, you’d better watch out. Usually, that’s a prelude to yet another war and invasion that’s gonna cause many untold stories of torture, displacement of civilians from their homes and death of countless of innocents – women, children, invalids and the sick and elderly included.

Without letting up the on the oppression and killing of the innocent civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq, these hypocritical Western nations now eye Libya.

U.N. Authorizes Military Strikes on Libya

The United Nations Security Council authorized military force Thursday against Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s security forces, opening the way for airstrikes within days.

The U.N. action, pushed aggressively by France and the U.K., came as Col. Gadhafi’s security forces continued their assault toward Benghazi, the de-facto capital of rebels trying to end his 42-year rule.

European and American officials argued on the Security Council floor that an international campaign to stop Col. Gadhafi’s forces was required immediately to stave off a potential massacre of opposition forces and civilians.

French officials have indicated that military strikes could take place within hours of the resolution’s passage. Others were more cautious about how quickly any attacks would begin.

Come on. We all know that these hypocritical nations are not interested in the welfare of Libyans. After all, Gaddafi was around for a long time. Where were these hypocrites then?

For that matter, Israel has been killing innocent Palestinians for the last nearly half century. What has been done about it?

The real reason, as with Afghanistan and Iraq, is the countries’ vast resources. Yep, it’s all about greed and $$$.

http://dev.prenhall.com/divisions/hss/worldreference/LY/resources.html

Fish catch per year: 33,487 tonnes

Oil production and reserves: 1.38m b/d (reserves 29.5bn barrels)

Estimated livestock resources: 4.13m sheep, 1.26m goats, 25m chickens

Main mineral resources: Oil, natural gas, iron, potassium, sulfur, magnesium, gypsum

Libya’s economy depends almost entirely on its oil and natural gas resources. It has considerable crude oil reserves and is likely to remain an oil-exporting country for many decades. Natural gas potential is more limited but, provided links are developed with other north African states, the future is assured. Libya also has reserves of iron ore, potassium, sulfur, magnesium, and gypsum, though these contribute little to the overall economy and most minerals are imported.

Incidentally, there are many civilians killed in Congo and Sudan due to civil strife. But to these hypocritical western democrazy nations, it’s not worth their time, because the payoff just does not yield much.

The Hypocritical Western Nations, in the guise of pushing their democrazy ideas, have been trying to invade Libya. Earlier this month, the comical and fumbling elite SAS troops from Britain were unceremoniously bundled out of Libya by the rebels.

UK said the troops were on a “diplomatic mission”. Yeah, right. Diplomats enter your land stealthily under the cover of the night in military combat attire, armed to the teeth!

These hypocritical western nations think you are so stupid, you’d buy their crap. Here’s a post I made which contains a link to the report on how Brit’s elite SAS troops fumbled and embarrassed themselves. Yeah, so elite that even Mr Bean couldn’t have matched their comedy of errors.

>The West just can’t keep their dirty hands off

Posted by Barrie on March 7, 2011

>The West, in particular the US and UK, always think they are the “saviours” of the world. They just can’t keep their pesky hands off other people’s business.

Just because there is civil strife in Libya, they think it is a great opportunity to get involved and export their foreign ideals. Not that they are welcomed over in Libya – or in any other country which doesn’t want Western interference.

8 British troops captured in Libya

Eight British soldiers have been captured in eastern Libya as they escorted a senior diplomat through territory under the control of revolutionary forces.

According to a report published by The Sunday Times, the unexpected presence of a British special forces unit along with the diplomat “angered Libyan opposition figures, who ordered the soldiers to be locked up on a military base.”

The Britons have reportedly been taken to Benghazi in eastern Libya. The diplomat they were protecting had wanted to contact the anti-government forces.

The Brits thought they are being smart, tying to “help” the rebels to overthrow Gaddafi. Looks like the rebels see these foreigners as hostile parties.

Another report from BBC here – Libya unrest: SAS members ‘captured near Benghazi’

Brits are not the only foreign forces that’s not welcomed. Here’s a clip showing Libyans don’t want Americans either. Actually, Libyans don’t want any foreign interference from the hypocritical West, who’s only interested in putting up more Western puppets.
