Note the words “a large number” in quotation marks, as if to question the authenticity of that claim. If it is the other way (American civilian victims killed), the words would scream – large number of innocents killed by jihadist terrorists – without quotation marks. But in the world of wars to attain democrazy, Arab/Muslim lives don’t count. So the “large number” (of Libyans) killed is questioned and hence, put within quotation marks.

The coalition of the conflicted goes to war in Libya

While generals and their political masters are sparring over the war’s rules, the countries doing the bombing – Britain, France, the United States and (soon) Canada – can’t agree on a command structure. Opposition from Germany and Turkey means it can’t be a “NATO war” like the Kosovo campaign in 1999. Italy accuses France of wanting to lead so it can secure oil contracts with a new Libya while Italy gets stuck with the wave of postwar refugees.

When the stakes and rewards are high, the vultures and scavengers will fight tooth and nail for the best parts. Like I said, this is not about protecting the Libyan people from Gaddafi. This is about plunging the riches of the Libyan people.

Cost of military campaign in Libya could wipe out GOP’s spending cuts

U.S. military operations in Libya could wipe out a significant chunk of the budget cuts won by congressional Republicans in recent weeks, defense analysts say.

GOP leaders have trumpeted enacted spending reductions that amount to more than $285 million per day since the beginning of March.

Since gold yuan coinage was announced by China, talks about the gold standard had been brought up in the Middle East. The main initiator of non-payment in dollars and euros is the Leader and Guide of the Revolution in Libya, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. He called on Arab and African world to adopt a single current – the gold dinar.

This article implies that Libya is bombed because Gaddafi wants to replace the US Dollar with the gold dinar. Whether there’s any link between the invasion and Gaddafi’s push for the gold dinar, I don’t know. What I know is that the US Dollar sux and really should be replaced with gold to trade oil. At least, that would stop the oil prices from shooting sky high, causing untold misery to everyone affected by inflation because of oil price increase. You see, the oil price has shot up not because oil has become more expensive. It is because the US Dollar has dropped much of its value the last few years. You now need more crummy sucky US dollars to buy that one barrel of oil.
