Israeli Atrocities – meet Jamila Al-Habash (victim)

The US, Europe and mainstream media have been lying to the world that Israel is the victim, while Palestinians are the aggressor for the last half century. Isn’t it about time the truth be told?

Let’s meet the victims of the war crimes perpetuated by Israel, and covered up by the mainstream mass media.

Jamila Al-Habash

This is Jamila Al-Habash. On January 4, 2009, Jamila (14) and her younger siblings and cousins were playing on the rooftop of their family home when an unmanned Israeli drone aircraft fired a missile at the children, killing her sister, Shaza (10) and her cousin Isra (11) immediately. As a result of injuries sustained during the attack, Jamila lost both her legs above the knee. Her mother, Hala recounts:

“The first thing I saw was Jamila without her legs, it was like she had been butchered, cut like meat. Her left leg was thrown about 100 metres, we gave it to the ambulance later…. Isra, I saw her brain. Then I saw Shaza, she was cut through her hip to her stomach. Her leg was gone, she was dead. I am a teacher, I take care of the health of the children if they are hurt. I did the same with Jamila, I told her not to worry, that I would take her to hospital, that I would get an ambulance.”

Jamila Al-Habash is the epitome of Palestinian resilience. She is my hero.

Farah

Some scars never heal.

This is Farah. She is 3-years-old. Her tiny body was burned by white phosphourus during Operation Cast Lead three years ago. Farah survived miraculously after treatment in Egypt. Unfortunately, her mother did not make it. She died due to infections of her wounds 3 months after the massacre. Today Farah is cared for by her grandmother.

Children like Farah inspire us to keep fighting for justice every single day. Their struggle is our struggle.

There was a famous quote during the Hollywood Days of the Cowboy Era. We get to hear the famous words from Native American Chief Joe saying, “White Man speak fork tongue” – meaning Hypocrite and Lying White Man’s words and actions don’t match.

That about very accurately describes how the natives view the oppressive foreign forces were. Today, it is no different.

UN child soldier accord gets 100th country support

UNITED NATIONS: One hundred countries have now signed up to an international accord vowing to stop children from being forced to fight in armies, officials told a UN meeting Monday.

With hundreds of thousands of children said to be involved in armies and militia groups around the world, the five extra signatories for the Paris Commitments over the past week have been hailed as a landmark for the declaration.

Angola, Armenia, Bosnia, Costa Rica and San Marino signed up during the UN General Assembly, diplomats at a Monday meeting on the accord said.

The UN is mainly dominated by rich and powerful countries of the West, with a number of insignificant “red dot” nations just to fill the numbers because you can’t have an organisation called “United Nations” of the world, if it is just made up of less than two dozen.

The purported reason for the Child Soldier Accord is to protect children. That’s what they want you to believe, btw. But I am far from convinced because of two reasons.

Firstly, aren’t they targetting specific nations that UN has interest in? They’re only using this as an excuse to interfere so that they can send in their troops – not to mention making the children they are supposed to protect, into prisoners of war!

Secondly, if child soldiers are considered illegal, why are child prisoners, which the US holds in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as when Israel holds Palestinian children, not considered illegal?

Here’s the World’s Number One Terror Nation, pillaging and usurping lands of others, calling the natives of the lands “terrorists”, yet treating the natives worse than criminals would treat their victims. Note the very children they abuse, which they purport to protect.

But those who support Bush’s pursuit of the “war on terror” have not been impressed by recriminations over torture. Worse than torture are the murders of at least 50 prisoners in Abu Ghraib, Afghanistan, and Guantánamo, but again the hard-hearted are unimpressed when those whom they perceive as terrorists receive illegal extrajudicial capital punishment.

The case for abusing children, however, is more difficult to support. The best kept secret of the Bush’s war crimes is that thousands of children have been imprisoned, tortured, and otherwise denied rights under the Geneva Conventions and related international agreements. Yet both Congress and the media have strangely failed to identify the very existence of child prisoners as a war crime. In the Islamic world, however, there is no such silence. Indeed, the prophet Mohammed was the first to counsel warriors not to harm innocent children.

Israel holds over 370 Palestinian children captive

The media liaison at the Palestinian ministry in charge of prisoners’ affairs says that Israel is currently holding captive more than 370 child detainees; all under the age of 18.

“Child detainees are sent to courts that prosecute cases of adult detainees. This is a flagrant violation of International Law. Dozens of detained Palestinian children undergo a series of harsh trials under a legal system that treats them the same as apprehended adults,” Riyadh al-Ashqar told the official Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV network on Monday.

Al-Ashqar went on to note that the child detainees are not immune to ‘egregious abuses’, adding mistreatment and torture in Israeli detention facilities are not uncommon.

He also called on the Geneva-based International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and humanitarian organizations across the globe to intervene, to stop Israeli brutalities against underage Palestinian prisoners.

Many of the Palestinian children in Israeli jails are arrested for nothing more than throwing rocks at heavily-armed Israeli troops and armored personnel carriers, the Palestinian Center for Defending Prisoners reported in early April.

The prison authorities place eight to ten children in a four meter square room, and routinely vilify them, put them under psychological pressure at every turn and even molest some of the children, the report added.

In the meantime, lookie who’s using who as human shields! Obviously, this inhumane act of using children as human shields is so common to the IDF, it bothers them not to the point they even allowed this photo to be taken up close.

So if child soldiers are illegal because it is abuse of children, what has UN done to ensure that the two Biggest Abusers of Children, namely the United States of America and Israel, are stopped?

The answer is, nothing. Nothing has been done.

The UN is after all dominated by the West nations, and it is the Western nations that decide what constitutes child abuse and what does not.

You could say the natives of the lands see their foreign occupiers as the terrorists. Such hypocrisy from the UN dominated by these powerful western nations.

As what Native American Chief Joe says, “White Man speak fork tongue.”

>Flotilla – More Truths Surfacing

Iara says that’s why the activists demand their hard drives and other equipment that was confiscated back. They could reconstruct the events if they were given their footage back. Israel is putting up their version. This is a complete violation of respect for the media.

A total of 9 people killed. There were 30 shots wounds. 5 to the head. 19 year old Furkan Durhan was shot within no less than 45 cm away, in the face, at the back of the head and in the legs.

40 other people also suffered gunshot wounds. 6 activists remain missing.

Iara was given 1 minute to call home by Israeli officials. However, she had to call her office because no one was home. That’s when the Israelis took the phone and slammed it down, insisting she called home.

In another incriminating video (below), an Israeli commando (actually terrorist) is seen holding an uzi. Hmm. You use an uzi to shoot paintballs? Well, that’s what Israel claims!
