>It is not unknown that America has the dubious honour of being the Number One country in the world, when it comes to invading, occupying and pillaging other people’s lands. Today, they are occupying Afghanistan and Iraq. They are considering an attack on Iran. Before that, they were in Vietnam. Not to mention the many covert operations to overthrow governments, by supporting rebels.
In this post, let’s take a look at one of the most disastrous operations America carried out. The Bay of Pigs. Ironically, much blame has been placed on John F Kennedy, one of America’s most loved Presidents by Americans, for this foul-up.
After forty years of keeping documents pertaining to the failure of the Bay of Pigs as top secret, it has finally been declassified. The truth is staggering.

America’s standard plan is to use support rebels to overthrow any govt it is not comfortable with. Even today, it does the same. Using Afghan tribal leaders to support against Taliban. Using the Shiite minorities to rebel against Saddam’s former regime. And now, using Iranian opposition to hopefully overthrow Ahmadinejad.
For Cuba in the 1960s (Bay of Pigs), America wanted to overthrow Fidel Castro. The idea was to repeat, in Cuba, America’s successful overthrow from within the country of Guatemala a few years earlier. But the operation in Cuba failed badly. There was no repeat of Guatemala.
It was because of this attack by America on Cuba, which failed badly, Cuba decided to seek (then) USSR’s help and nuclear missiles were then deployed in Cuba – very close to US. This was the Cuban Missile Crisis.
A deal was then made between Cuba and America, that Cuba would disarm the nuclear weapons, on condition that America NEVER attacks or plans to attack Cuba again.
America has since played up that Cuba cowed under pressure after Cuba disarmed – without ever mentioning that the deal was that Cuba forced the hand of America to promise never to attack again. Neither did America make it known to the public why America lost the war heavily during the operation of The Bay of Pigs.
Instead, America, after the promise and disarming of the Cuban Missiles, planned yet another attack on Cuba. John F Kennedy, the much admired and loved President approved it. You can’t trust the Americans, can you?
As what the Native American Tribal Chief always say: “White Man speak fork tongue.”
If there is one thing you can hand it to America, it is that the Oval Office is always able to deceive Americans into believing that they are fighting for a just cause. Even till today, killing and maiming innocent women and children is just to them – like in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Incidentally, the reason for the invasion of Cuba to overthrow Castro was because America was not comfortable with his style of governing his country. They felt he was too far right, too nationalistic and too extreme. (Like how they view Iran now) Yeah, only Americans have the right to tell others how they should rule their own lands, huh?
Oh, btw, Castro’s profile and America’s view of Iran fit Israel’s govt, doesn’t it? So why not invade Israel too?
